sheerME was founded in Porto, Portugal by Miguel Alves Ribeiro, a fintech entrepreneur who saw a gap: beauty is one of Europe's most consistent consumer spending categories — yet customers get nothing back for their loyalty.
With a background in payments and marketplace platforms, Miguel set out to build something different: a booking platform that puts real cashback in customers' wallets and gives independent salons a fighting chance against commission-heavy incumbents.
Launched in 2025, sheerME has grown to 500+ verified salons across Portugal and is expanding to Spain, France, and the UK throughout 2026.
